Jaeger Lecoultre Geophysic / Memovox Parking and World Time / 2233: A Double Jubilé Feast

Dec 19, 2014,00:13 AM

Sometimes, coïncidences are much more than coincidences.

As I celebrated, a few days ago, my own double Jubilé, some friends and myself decided to try to gather the watches which were part of the " Jubilé " 1958 collection, which are the E 168 ( Geophysic ), 2233, 3160 ( Memovox World Time wink and 3161 ( Parking ).

Let's say it straight, the opportunity to see a Geophysic and a Parking is quite rare. But seeing a Memovox World Time is much rarer.

The Stainless steel 2233 is not common, either.

Here they are; for your pleasure.

2233 Steel, which was avalaible in steel, rose or yellow gold.

Let's add, for your greedy pleasure, a not often seen 2233 Lecoultre, while we are at it...

A pink gold Parking, which is quite a rare bird, too.

And for your eyes, the super mighty Ref 3160 Memovox World Time!

The Memovox World Time was available in stainless steel or in 18 Kt Gold ( Pink or Yellow ). This one is in yellow gold.

I will not post pictures of the Geophysic alone, as you well know it, but what seems to be a first on the net is the famous trio, sude by side, on the same picture.

Steel Geophysic and Parking, yellow gold Word Time Memovox.

Maybe one day I will be able to take the steel trio, but as the Devil can't suffer imperfection, I also took a picture of the whole trio in yellow gold!

Yes, for a double jubilé, nothing can beat a Jubilé theme!

Best,

Nicolas

As to your hopes to make the 3 steel trio picture, I think we could achieve this quite soon, certainly before your next Jubilé ! All the best and thank you for the great pictures as ever

Well, Clavi, that would be great if we could do it BEFORE my next Jubilé...

I like the "look" of the International version, although it's only an "instantaneous world time" and not a "running world time." But it is easier to read than the current version. -Dean

Hello dear Nicolas! Congrats on your own double Jubilee...

Thank you, my friend. I needed something strong to pass this step.

And you can imagine how moving it is to see all of them, at the same place and moment... An intense moment, for sure! Best, my dear friend. Nicolas

I didn't know that the parking was a jubilee, and I wasn't aware of the 2233 or Memovox World Time models. I'm sure it will take some more living and breathing to appreciate the rarity. All rarity and stars converging aside, your photo of the steel geophy...

Here is one picture which will help you to better know the Jubilé collection.
