Vintage Lecoultre Blue Chronograph: A sweet candie.

Nov 22, 2014,00:05 AM

I rarely saw pictures of this chronograph, and I had to wait till yesterday to have a real experience with it, thanks to our dear Abel.

It is difficult to not immedaitely fall in love with it. The style is very 60ies, with this blue dial. The case size is perfect, around 36 / 37 mm. And there are some cool détails which are the cherry on the cake, such as these luminous dots, each five minutes, or these round hour markers, with some blue batons, in the middle.

The big pushers add to the macho look of the Chronograph.

Valjoux 72 Inside.

I still have to find 4 or 5 watches to close my vintage JLC theme, and for sure, this watch is one of them!

Best,

Nicolas

Wow! I love the patina, and the contrast between the blue dial and the subs.

The hour markers that you mentioned just may be the icing on the cake. And all this in a beautiful utility case. Happy hunting!

Yes, it has been a while I am hunting this one...

.. which I do like a lot, both ! The next one I 'll try to find, is a Panda 4 ATM, I think.. Chronos for me still are " exceptions", but have been growing in me lately. This blue one has a colorful, sort of happy " Hippie" appeal to me.. Best, my dear fri...

OK, now I remember. Clavi is the guy who owns the other one.
