Jaeger LeCoultre Etrier for Hermès

Oct 22, 2014,13:56 PM

I got this on a recent trip to Paris.  It's a Jaeger LeCoultre "Etrier" watched stamped "Hermès Paris" on the case back.  I've seen similar models variously referred to as the "Grande Taille" or "Grande Modele Homme," but I haven't seen one with this exact dial in this size.  There seems to have been many variations to the dial, size of the lugs and even the position of the crown on this model over the years.  This is one is from the 1970s.  Any comments or more information on this Etrier model would be most welcome.

Not for me, but it has a look that I think would appeal to many women these days. -Dean

It's bigger!

The watch is oversized, proportioned for a man's wrist. Similar to the designs that Hermès themselves are doing now for their men's watches.
