Team, End of mystery. I got the "JLC Master Hometime Aston Martin" (174.8.05.S). I made many attempts using around a similar budget but I'm a GMT (multiple time zone) watches. I was tempted to wait for the Geophysic (another one that I love) but the Homet...

Unexpected, indeed, but it is always good to be surprised.

From memory, there were only three watches which were issued from the collaboration between JLC and Aston AND which were not Amvoxes: This one, a black Chronograph, and the infamous Reverso. At least, on this dial, the AM badging is discrete, which is a g...

I had the non AM on my hands ...

But the white dial with silver hands didn't look visible. And, who knows, I may win a major lottery and buy an AM (not). Cheers, Nilo

Who knows! [nt]

Good size indeed. Congratulations! And your quick shots...

...are very nice already. So two new watches in a row and yet very, very different in terms of personality and aesthetics. Doubly cool. Ruckdee

Love the watch dial....

but could never get past the Navy strap on a black dial. I would always switch it to black (for my taste). Enjoy! -Dean

Now that you mention (the navy blue strap) ...

I got from the Boutique a black strap, that is the one for this watch. I go to change as soon I have some time (no scratches on this baby, yet). Cheers, Nilo

Congrats

Nice! That case is gorgeous--perfectly proportioned, and I love the alternating brushed and polished surfaces. Enjoy, John

That was the main factor

The case and, of course, the dual time. Thanks, Nilo

Hi Nilo ,

You are moving deeper and deeper into Vlad land.... It is a dangerous place! ;) Best Blomman

Thank you and don't tell me ....

Uncle Vlad's land is, in fact, a dangerous and wonderful place. That's the reason why we dive there, from time to time. The trill. Cheers, Nilo

Thank you. [nt]

Unexpected, but perfectly chosen

Congratulations, Nilo. This is a perfectly proportioned watch and really looks great on you. Very much under the radar and not one that screams for attention, yet sharing clearly to the owner the intricacies that make it beautiful consistently. Richard

Under the radar ....

Is one of the main requirements, here where I live. Thank you, Richard. Cheers, Nilo

Good choice, and it looks gorgeous

Congrats, a great choice! IMO the Hometime is wrongfully underrated: - if not mistaken first watch with the completely newly developed 97x caliber - first one to introduce the new 'Master' case with thinner and more rounded lugs - useful and discreet func...

Coincidence...
