Ja Ja Ja, Juan... 10 different watches, 7 different movement refs.

Apr 19, 2014,23:04 PM

For the Alarms only, three different movement references: Cal 815 > 825 > 916. The Cal 815 and 825 are the same, the difference being that the date has been added on the 825.

3 outsourced movements, too, which is very rare for a brand like JLC. One is of course the Shark movement, a Valjoux 72. The two others are I think two different AS housed in the MM Dolfin and in the Jaeger Diver.

Best, Amigo.

Nicolas

Here is my collection of vintage JLC Divers ( note that some are Jaeger, others are Lecoulre or Jaeger-Lecoultre, which represents a crazy vertical collection, to say the least! The interest of such a stack is double: 1/ It allows you to have an immediate...

WoW !.. That's almost spooky.. Great 9er stack.. If..

.. my count is correct ( might be 10 as well ?); There might be another little thing to apply here : One could try to guess at least some of the " tower bricks" by their shape, crowns and small indicators, which are visible ( eg the DSA, just to name one)...

A 10 watches stack. ;)

 By: amanico : April 19th, 2014-02:41
Yes, I wouldn't recommend doing the same, since it is a bit risky and tough to get the balance... It took me a bit of luck to achieve that collection, and still, I have to find the one or two pices I miss to end! Best, my friend. Nicolas

3/ it allows you to test your dexterity :)

I would like to see a fan shot of these, like Blomman did with his Polaris and DSAs Best Joe

This must be the second most dangerous thing after drunk driving!

 By: Ruckdee : April 19th, 2014-05:16
It took me a good number of seconds to ponder about the difficulty involved in arranging this shot, before I could actually begin to analyze which models these are. May I ask which chronograph it is near the center of the stack, the one that has cities pr...

Yes, it takes quite some time to put a watch on another one.

 By: amanico : April 19th, 2014-06:10
And thinking on what order to do so... As for the Chronograph, it is The E 2643, so called The Shark. Quite nice, isn't it? Best, Nicolas ...

Greeting from my 2643/2 aka "Shark" & aka "Vogue".. In EU at least..

 By: hs111 : April 19th, 2014-06:36

I look at your post with consideration and observe from afar, cannot get too near to frankly, it is a clever idea, and shows that these watches have different characteristics as well as size and the end, iit is a exquisite collection of diving watches w...

Yes, there is no better way to see these different cases.

Something is missing… Where is the spear? Regards, Constantin

At least, the Red Polaris II, and the Lecoultre " Baby Panerai ".

 By: amanico : April 19th, 2014-10:35
But I am not very keen on the Baby Panerai, a 36 mm case, 1000 meters water resistant. Moreover, there is a date on the dial... Not much my cup of tea... Best, Nicolas

Now, that is madness! :-)

That is one crazy and evil tower Nicolas. I can spot some nice stuff in that tower, the bezel of the Deep Sea Alarm US version (tribute version I assume) really catches my eye. It stands out among the crowd. Impressive stuff. Your watch collecting is very...
