One of the watches from the 2014 collection which belongs to the " variation category ". Indeed, we cannot call the Master Grande Tradition Cylindric Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar a new Watch, but an evolution of the one we discovered last year for the Ju...

Lovely piece of horology, however not for me to wear....

I have tried the previous model in Singapore 2 years ago and didn't do it for me. Sorry. Cheers Francois from Down Under

I am not mad about Tourbillons, with some very rare exceptions, though. But it has some interesting features. I have other dream pièces, from JLC. Best, Nicolas

In agreement

First, as ever thank you for bringing another time piece closer. The dial and details are stunning, BUT why does JLC have to demonstrate it's a Tourbillon???? Besides its being an additional complication, isn't a Tourbillon for achieving the highest possi...

Maybe this is because of the cylindric spiral?

Which is not too often seen in a Tourbillon? Like you, I much prefer Tourbillons when they are on the back side, except when they are gyrotourbilloning. ;) Best, Nicolas

I prefer the duometre sphero

I was so fortunate that Stephane allowed me to wear his platinum sphero for a while during our dinner last year. The Jubilee of the Cylindric was also at the party. I shot wrist shots of both. Th Cylindric just did not do the same for me. I do like the de...

Same preference, here. Because it is a Duometre, and because of the ballet of

The Tourbillon... +, it has this second time zone indication I love a lot! But I guess any ( other ) Duometre fan will feel the same! Best, my friend. Nicolas.

I never warmed up to this one....

Mate its the automatic tourbillon that pura me off, or the layout.... A nice watch but it doesnt make me go wow! Agree with everybody who prefears the sphero, that is a watch that is slowly getting to the very top spot as my fav JLC. Mo

Agree, but the Sphero is not the ultimate piece, for me.

As my heart is long time taken by the ... Gyro One! ;) Best, my dear Mo. Nicolas

Understand, but the sphero is a magic watch.

 By: moc : February 10th, 2014-06:02
The gyro is the gyro of course, but the size of the sphero is very appealing. Thank you Nico. Mo

Peter Chong took a magnificent photo of th sphero

The case, the dial layout, simple reading date, but neatly displayed, seconds display, dual time or day night if you wish, PR, everything is useful, elegant. And a little more affordable to boot versus the gyro! But I do like th gyro too! Anyways, just ad...

Eclectic beauty.. Balanced Haute Horlogerie.. But for me..

.. pretty hypothetical as unreachable; - I think I still would go with a Duometre, (such as the UTT) If you'd ask me which of these two : then the cool, WG one, please .. With thanks for the share, - my Best, hs

I hope this is a prototype, because that would be a big shock to see on a watch that was ordered, paid for, waited for - finally arrived and What!!?? Cheers, Mike

That is a proto, Mike. [nt]
