Dental gold alloys are quite touchy. You can't simply mix unknown gold alloys and cast a new crown. The allioy and the "cement mold" where the gold is cast into it must be in harmony, must be "matching". Casting is not as simple as it might look to people...

Dentists.... I was hyper fortunate to have an extraordinarily good one as a teenager (forever grateful Dr. Vera!), so that even at present, pushing 40 years of age I have yet to undergo a single tooth repair........ Cheers, Filip
