Great companies all around ...

Nico, love the Explorer II 1655, but prices seemed to be very sharp at the moment.

I have a slight preference for the straight-hand over the lollipop-hand, but both versions are winners in my book.

Cheers,

Ken

Sam Rotandi and his superb 1655. I tried to take a picture without flash, in the night, just with the light of the restaurant we were. The second picture was taken with the flash: The pleasure to see this nice 1655, to meet a long time virtual friend, and...

superb

The problem is not to find a straight or a not straight one, the problem is to find a nice one. Nicely patined, in a nice condition. After, the straight or not straight hand is is a matter of taste. Personally, patina and condition first. Best, Nicolas

Great pictures of the Rolex 1655

This is one reference, which has been elusive to me, so far . As you said, it\'s less to find one, but more to find a real nice one ! Your visitor\'s seems to tick all the right boxes.. Cheers & Best, hs

Mk III rail dial. f all the Explorer IIs, the MkI (straight hand) and MkIII (rail dial) are the more expensive models today. Even more so if you find one complete set. A nice piece you have there. Great pixs and subject!
