The Homage to NR is actually my favorite watch if I don't consider it being too big for me. It is definitely a winner for Montblanc this year. From what I heard and observed last night, I think this watch will be sold out very quickly esp the steel versio...

Montblanc with its Heritage collection presented this year a solid offer. When it comes to this new collection, I think that my fav watch is at the end the Moonphase for its overall balance. The new Rieussec also seduced me. Thanks a lot for the pics and ...

What do you mean this Montblanc is fireproof?

 By: MTF : March 7th, 2014-08:15
??? Fireproof? Regards, MTF ...

Opps! I meant to say the leather strap is

 By: jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) : March 7th, 2014-15:45
Water and Fire resistant. Not that the watch is fireproof! Sorry for the typo MTF! :) I love the looks and more importantly the feel of this new leather strap. A perfect blend of new technology and classical luxurious leather. Cheers Robin

I was almost excited by the previous post

 By: MTF : March 8th, 2014-01:20
Fireproof watch would have been very exciting....Not that I regularly rush into burning buildings ;) Regards MTF

Can someone tell me what's the advantage of having a fire resistant strap?

 By: patrick_y : March 10th, 2014-05:19
Classic problem, "Hot feature, but what makes the benefit cool?" Why's the fire-resistant strap beneficial? What's the story behind its invention? Here's my hypothetical story... Was this strap designed for race car drivers who have to wear the watch with...

The strap's high performance material

Complements the timepiece's name, the TimeWalker Extreme Chronograph DLC. The Diamond-Like Carbon coating on the case also reflects the Extreme nature of this watch. The watch is meant for adventures from how I see it! :) (Not for swimming though as it is...

You'd cringe...

I shouldn't admit this in public. But during IGOTT 2, a festival we had in Las Vegas for PuristSPro members from around the world, I wore a... er... XXXXX to the go kart session. Just read this article. amp;fi=17&pi=4658178&ti=715028&s=0 I'm d...

The Homage to Nicolas Rieussec is indeed an outstanding watch. It has the neatest dial amongst all the Nicolas Rieussec watches imho. Although I also like the Rising Hour for its innovation. The new Meisterstuck Heritage Pulsograph was voted as our favori...
