The Polaris is...

...already shockproof and anti-magnetic if I recall correctly. The movement is identical, therefore they would be the same. Differences are in the case and dial etc. From what I can see there are no on-dial references to the SEALs, but heck, for me, the GMT is great piece.

MC Diving Alarm SEAL
By: nwp627 : January 19th, 2009-12:03
I just received an email from JLC containing photos of their Collection 2009. The first watch I went to in that collection was the MC Diving Alarm Navy SEAL. It is a nice looking watch similar to my MCD/GMT. I really wanted it to be a fantastic looking wa...
I really like this one

I have to say that I wish I'd have held off buying my MCD GMT to buy this one. I prefer the black bezel and the alarm is a very useful function. A very handsome watch indeed. I haven't seen a close up of the dial yet, does it make any reference to "SEALS"...

What a great watch - why is it an LE??? I am tired of LE's - too many in my opinion!! Cheers David

Yep, looks great to me. I'm no diver and not specially into diving watches, but this will do the job. So is it just a 956 calibre in a different case or is it also more robust as lets say the Polaris containing the same calibre (shock proof, anti-magnetic...
I have to agree...The MCDC GMT NS

is awesome. One question, could one replace the bezel on the MCDC to the new cerramic (black) one!?!?!? Matrix.
Fantastic suggestion...

I would be very interested in replacing my present MCD/GMT bezel with the ceramic black bezel. N
I have thought of this too
By: Bretta : January 20th, 2009-09:20
If this is possible, I would change my bezel in a flash. I'm glad others are thinking along the same lines. I find the titanium bezel shows up the scatches way too easily. I haven't pampered my watch but I haven't given it a hard time either... my bezel i...

...no extraneous military insignia there. I'm assuming the SEAL "Budweiser" is engraved or embossed on the case back. Very nice touch, only the owner knows that the watch is a collaborative effort. N
Question

What is the red circle in the center of the dial?
Tight! nt

Oh dear.

If there was a subtle NSN on the back, that would be the subtle and authentic way to do it. (and it's in Gold??) How is this different from a Luminox "Navy Seals", a Kobold "Navy Seals", MTM "Navy Seals" ad nauseum? Yes, undoubtedly a superior watch, but ...
Just my opinion...

...but I doubt if the Teams will ever see this LE watch "in the flesh." N
Exactly!
