JLC logo over time
Jan 19, 2013,07:41 AM
Hello,
I was studying different vintage JLC watches and as I could figure out the applied JL logo appeared regularly from the 60s, older watches being signed Jaeger-LeCoultre.
I'm not talking here about the LeCoultre signed watches for the US.
Does anyone have more information regarding the evolution of the JLC logo over time.
Thanks

Interesting, As I see, the "JL" logo that is represented on the dial and crowns of some watches appears first time somewhere in the 60s . I was looking at some automatic memovoxes and the older ones usualy don't have this logo on the dial and their crowns...
Aaaah, ok. In this case, yes. I would say around 1960.

And yes, you are speaking about the E 855. Here is mine, without the Logo, hence, a " first generation ". But if I didn't get you, it was because there was no Logo. The 12 was changed for a JL Logo, on the E 855, not on all the references. Best, Nicolas ...
