Have always been looking for one of these, from the early attempt, supported by a fellow Purist, to contact and get one directly when they were launched. They weren’t set up for international business back in the day but fortunately managed to pick it up ...

Have seen the Kurono dialed ones of course but this one for the first time 👌🏻👍🏻

Have had it since 2022 now and it’s really a lovely, understated piece 😊👍🏻

Never heard of this brand before. And a very nice initial strap choice. (Steering clear of birds for now, I see.) Sartorially elegant. As usual.

The other piece of trivia with this brand is that it is Hajime Asaoka's.

I guess our Druid will now read it twice 😂

The strap is actually taken off an Omega Railmaster 😂 You may know the brand as Kurono Tokyo, they changed name and logo after the initial models. Hajime Asaoka is behind.

At the time of the English language dial text they had difficulties dealing with international customers, when they changed to Kurono, they improved on the latter 😁👍🏻

I see that my patience these days is much better and that I can easily wait for years before the piece I want finds me 😁 I guess it’s the sign of ageing and maturing? 😂

I like the fact that the kurono chronos use the high end seiko movements with column wheels/vertical clutch.

That they do - the only downside is that those movements are quite thick, making the chronos anything but slim 😊🤷🏻‍♂️

I picked mine up in 2021, the size is absolutely perfect for me. I love the clean dial. I have it on a brown strap, I will post a picture to this thread soon. glad you were able to pick one up, great choice!
