I love these new dials, as well as the bracelet, but the 15mm thickness relative to a 38mm case just makes it look tubby on the wrist. I've tried the 356 SA Pilot II too, which is similarly thick.

Three new Sinn 356 Flieger Chronographs . . .

1. The first piece is the Sinn 356 Pilot Classic Anniversary in a LE series of 500 pieces: Powered by the Sellita SW510: Equipped with a domed sapphire crystal, the case diameter is 38.5mm while the case thickness is 15.0mm: Presented with a grey and sand...

Completely agree, great design. Unfortunately the thickness, especially relative to the size ...

I wish they could find an alternative movement, even if the price would be a bit higher.

very nice looking watch but the dimensions make it a no go. WAY too thick compared with the size. It had to be at least 42 mm or they had to reduce the thickness to 11 mm. But 15mm in an 38mm case just isn't right

Totally agree

Sinn is one if those very few brands who still make no nonsense watches

Loving each one

But! Why did they not do a hand-wound version to make it less thick? Why is the steelback version thicker than the saphireback version?? - Usually it‘s the other way round! AND this, despite the only very slighly doomed front saphire? Difficult to underst...
