Always a bad idea...

 By: rnaden : June 19th, 2012-07:53
It's always a bad idea to walk into the AD during spare time over lunch. You just never know what's going to happen and how the thoughts that have been playing ini your mind can be swayed....happened today. Not the greatest pics as they were taken with a ...

ad = always damaging. esp to wallet

But nice blue hue on the dial for the el primero. Cheers PAt

Now I know what those initials stand for!

That blue got my attention as I was initially considering the open heart but wasn't completely sold on it until I saw this one. The dark blue and almost black strap helped seal the deal as that makes it possible to take to formal functions too

The decision was already taken before you walked into the AD...

Let's autopsy yoru decision... 1/ You saw this Zenith before paying a visit to your AD. 2/ You push the door. You already know why. 3/ You brought your Credit Card with you... Which is meaningful. 4/ Then the decision of purchase was a simple formality. I...

How did you know?

But sadly...I just know that it will start to itch again the next time I'm within smelling distance of more of these good stuff! ;-) Richard

I disagree ...

To wear an El Primero is always a great idea. In special when one is so beautiful as yours. Congratulations, Nilo

Thanks for the kind words

Wearing this is always a good idea I would agree. Visiting the AD over lunch is still iffy

You know what they say about shopping ...

 By: AndrewD : June 19th, 2012-15:38
You know what they say about supermarket shopping on an empty stomach ... you come home with lots of food you don't really need. But in this situation I think you did VERY well. This is a great example of a modern El Primero. Excellent dial colours and la...

Left hungry

 By: rnaden : June 19th, 2012-20:24
Thanks Andrew. I will post a summary after wearing it for a while. Initial take is that it wears really comfortably. I have to note that I missed my lunch after picking this up and didn't feel any hunger until much later...but then again there's always a ...

If this is your idea . . .

. . . of a bad idea, Richard, then I wonder what your idea of a good idea is like! Try walking out the store with this one next time ;-) . . . ...

Away from me!

 By: rnaden : June 19th, 2012-20:28
Don't do this to me again. You planted those GO Sixties images in my head the last time. Temptations seem to come from you :-D Good ones, thankfully! Beautiful piece this...I might have to rob a bank first judging by how beautifully crafted it looks Richa...

It is just as dangerous to see those beautiful pictures...

 By: Blue_Orca : June 20th, 2012-01:51
...I should stay away from from you and PuristSPro... :-) Congratulations. Wear your new watch in the best of health. Blue

Be warned

This is one place where "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"! And you will keep coming back for more

That dial is really great...

I totally get what you fell for! Well done! Nikolaj

Used to be very closely related...

...as the Daytona once used the El Primero movement. Gotta love those EPs :)

Richard, your xperience reminds me of some impulsive purchases.

Fortunately, I have no regret at all. Enjoy the beautiful Zenith. Regards Ling
